As I’m writing this post, it’s gloomy outside, the fire is going, and I’m enjoying some Christmas music. I love this time of year. Yes, it’s crazy hectic but it’s a time to look forward to fires, movies, blankets, warm beverages, decorations, and more. It’s those memories that make me excited for Christmas every year.
Today, I want you to remember to take a little time for yourself this holiday season. We get sucked into the craziness and sometimes we just need to refresh. Give yourself just 20 minutes. Make this Peppermint Hot Chocolate, and let it all go for 20 minutes. That’s an order
Peppermint Hot Chocolate
(Sugar Free, Dairy Free, Vegan)
Makes 2 cups
- 4 tsp. cacao powder
- 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
- 2 c. non-dairy milk of choice
- 20 drops of Stevia extract, or sweetener of choice (to taste)
Put everything into a saucepan and heat until desired temperature, stirring occasionally.
